"Wink" (a.k.a. Clara Saunders) is a witch who is a member of the Scarlet order. She is serious, yet has some sort of a playful rivalry with fellow member of the order, Doctor Brent Hobbs. Wink has a strong sense of justice, and her moral compass led her to join the Scarlet Order; due to her despising of H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. She sees the organization as tyranical, and for the longest time, she was right, until the reform occurred and "The Special Supernatural Zone of London" became "Gehenna". Thus, she is extremely skeptical of the reform and believes it to be some sort of "trap".
Wink is missing an eye due to a skirmish with H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. and thus wears an eyepatch. She has long black hair that is pulled back into a braided ponytail and dresses extremely practically. The wears her family ring on one hand and it is the source of her magic. The gems on in specialise in ice-magic, which is why all of her attacks are ice-based.
As captain of the Prudentia, Wink led a group of turncoats to help stop the order that she helped create. She sank ships and had her crew shoot down soldiers. She was also absolutely vital in tracking the order down, as she leaked the coordinates to the location of several ships, and eventually, their base.

- Preston Omid
At one time, Wink whole-heartedly believed in Preston's cause, but would ultimately be his downfall. After growing skeptical of his promises and disgusted with his methods and choices in company, Wink became a traitor to the Scarlet Order and began leaking intel to the H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. organization.
- Doctor Brent Hobbs
Wink has a somewhat of a rivalry with Hobbs and often makes comments about his competence. She considers him to be less capable at combat and strategy, and kind of wants him to just stay in his lab where he is "more useful".
- Tegwen Sibyl
On the author's Tumblr page, it was confirmed that Wink and Tegwen had been in a romantic relationship approximately eight years ago. It was also stated that Tegwen was also present when Wink's eye was gouged out, but it was not stated as to whether or not this contributed to their breakup.

- Wink's nickname was not intended to be a reference to her missing eye, but rather chosen by the author "because it sounded cool". It was only later that HateWeasel realised the terrible pun.
