The Scarlet Order is a group of supernaturals attempting to destroy H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. They believe that the organization is unjust and tyrannical toward supernatural beings. Thus, it is their mission to eradicate the organization and create a paradise for supernaturals to live in free of human interference.

The organization was created by Preston Omid during his forced employment at H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. and launched several successful campaigns. They attacked a police station and even H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. headquarters with success. However, they were forced to flee once they were tracked to a SOMA Electronics cargo ship by the Phantomhives. After a battle, Preston used both the stolen DNA samples of supernatural H.E.L.L.S.I.N.G. agents as well as the engagement ring that Ciel was going to propose to his then-boyfriend, now-husband with as a bargaining chip to ensure his escape.

From here, the order made its way throughout Scandinavia in order to build an army. They primarily utilize boats and ships, preferring sea travel, but they also have many scouting troops. Usually, these troops consist of good-looking and well-tempered men in case they come across an elf village. However, Paul Blackwood made it onto one of these teams, so this is debatable.

The order's base of operations is located at Maunsell Forts, where they kept Jim Phantomhive captive until his rescue. The following battle would be the order's undoing.

  • Many of the names of things in the order are references to something else. For example, "The Band of the Hawk" scout troop is a direct reference to the mercenary group from the manga Berserk of the same name. The name of the group even shares the name of the main antagonist.
  • There is a group of witches in the order known as "The Order of the Rose" that references the Red Crayon Aristocrats from the game "Rule of Rose". The members of the group even share names.
